Association for Development of Creativity is non-governmental and nonprofit organization from Aleksinac, which was established on February 11th, 1997. with an aim to promote creative development, creative work, and children and youth education. The main activities of the organization are workshops, trainings, seminars, psychosocial help, humanitarian actions, etc. The programmes of this organization have been attended by more than 4000 young people and over 1000 grown-up members. At present, the organization has 40 active members, project associates, volunteers, and over 300 users of its programmes.

The first big and important project was “The Open Club" – a five-year Project for the children of Yugoslavia which was supported by the Fund for an Open Society, and which was realized as network project in 10 towns of Serbia. The project in Aleksinac involved about 20 educational and creative workshops for children and youth, the development of social skills, giving a humanitarian aid to the children and refugees, lectures, debates, exhibitions, promotions etc.
The special focus in the work of Association for Development of Creativity was on the "risk - groups": refugees, displaces persons, handicapped children, children of single parents, Roma population, unemployed people, etc. All those projects were supported by many donors: IOCC, OXFAM, ICS, The Fund for the Open Society, IOM, World Bank, U. S. Embassy Belgrade, Pestalozzi Children's Fundation, EAR, etc.
Organizational structure of Association form: the assembly of all active members, administrative Board, oversight committee, three programming teams - educational team, psychosocial help team and humanitarian actions team. The Association is technically well equipped with many competent people as well.
